Jim Borsey (Snr) was my father. Grew up with Wade pieces around the house, A lot got broken when we were kids, wish I had them now. A few survived but I have started to collect again. I have been given quite a few pieces and have bought some through ebay. Also can still come across pieces at car boot sales. I'm looking forward to the book. Nice to see my sister in law Anna has signed the Guest Book. would like to hear from her if she wants to get in touch with me. Good luck, Jennifer

The pictures bring back so many wonderful memories of the days when B S Lewis Limited was (I think) the biggest distributor of Wade Irish Porcelain in the World!!
I recall selling the IP1 and IP2 Tankards, S11 three inch Leprechaun, the IP72/73 Sugar and Cream Set. These latter items my late Uncle, Barney Lewis, packaged with a set of Irish Coffee Glasses, with the original Shannon Recipe on them to make an Irish Coffee Set.
I am going to start looking for anything which may be connected with Wade's Portadown Factory, which might be useful for your book project.
Kindest Regards
Arnold Lewis Dublin

I have collected Wade I.P. for many years and I still love it, but will be moving to much smaller accomodations in about a year and sadly must part with it. If there are pieces any collector is hunting for, let me know and I'll see if we "match". (Also have MANY Wade tea ornaments).

Hello Harry and Cardwell,
Thank you for the nice sentiments towards my new website. I have always loved Wade Irish porcelain, and by the look of some of the photographs on your site, so do many others across the globe! Well done! Am looking forward to meeting yourselves and staff of Wade Co. Armagh at the book launch. Until then...Best Regards, Karyl www.wadenewengland.com

Always on the lookout for new pieces to add to my collection. It is pretty hard to find unique pieces near Toronto. Most places have mugs and tankards, but the hunt continues. I am very interested in seeing this book when completed to obtain a better understanding of the different pieces out in the world.

This site can’t measure the tremendous amount of hard work and enthusiasm that Cardwell and Harry have for Wade Ireland. I wish them both all the success they so richly deserve for the Irish Wade exhibition and book launch.

I just started collecting Irish Wade and am wondering how I missed out on this all my life. I hope I can afford to catch up.

Hello all--I bought my first piece of Irish Porcelain when I was about 18 at an exclusive gift shop; that, folks, was about 41 years ago. Today I received a parcel from UK, via Ebay, from my daughter in Yellowknife, for Mother's Day; a beautiful Irish Porcelain coffee pot, one of the few pieces that I don't have. I love my Irish Porcelain and have quite an extensive collection, although I'm finding out that there are others out there with just as much--who knew? Now that I've found you, I'll visit often.
